Culturati, formerly known as My Heritage, My Pride & Sisi Oge is a cross-cultural event organised by No. 1 Heritage Solutions Limited – as a means to celebrate the African culture and our long-standing values, reward the contributions of creative minds and nurture cultural ambassadors through a variety of exciting programmes aimed at propagating the beauty of the African culture within and beyond the proximity of Africa.

Culturati 2019 will hold from Friday, June 28th – Sunday, June 30th at Nike Art Gallery, Freedom park and Grand finale at Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos Respectively. This event will feature a rich blend of; arts and fashion exhibition, cultural festival/pageantry, music, drama, special recognition and awards.

Culturati in its 12 years, was devised to preserve the African culture and its spectrum of traditions with the objective of creating a cultural evolution to promote Nigeria’s rich collection of arts and fashion from diverse cultural backgrounds and interests.

Organisers of this ingenuous idea have created a platform for budding art and fashion enthusiasts to hone their skills, showcase their creative products and learn from the wealth of experience of cultural icons that have distinguished themselves in their different crafts.

Culturati will also provide cultural knowledge for the youths to leverage on through various electrifying cultural engagements. This occasion will gather cultural icons from different continents, diplomats, traditional rulers, royal fathers and other notable personalities to the heart of Lagos.

This is not just an annual festivity, but also a cultural movement with a vision to sustaining the relevance and existence of the African art and its invaluable traditions through engaging events.
